Green Star Equestrian was established by Donna Owen and her mom, Theresa, in 2004. Since then the business has grown from the purchase of one mare in 1991 to a Hunter/Jumper lesson & training facility and Thoroughbred breeding, racing and sales.
ABOUT DONNA
Donna Owen, (Owner, Trainer and Breeder), has over 20 years experience in showing, teaching, training and breeding. She certified and fully insured. She has successfully competed in high level jumpers as a junior and hunters as a professional with many awards as both a rider and a trainer. Her students competing at levels from leadline to amateur jumpers have won numerous awards at the Northeast Regional Championships each year and her students guided Go Go Gidget to Pony of the year awards in 2005 and are well on their way to awards in 2009. Her students range in age from 3 years old to adults well into their 60's.
Donna started riding at the age of 8 and has worked with and trained with notable professionals such as George Morris, Nick Karazissis, trainer and equestrian author, Peg Cannell and many others.
